Glenn Highway Chickaloon Bridge Project

Construction work was completed on October 16, 2016.

Project Overview

The Chickaloon Bridge is part of the Glenn Highway corridor, which is one of the few major highways in Alaska. The replacement of the Chickaloon Bridge with a new one is part of an overall alignment redesign of portions of the Glenn Highway. This new bridge will be used by commuters in the immediate area, recreationalists, and as well as commercial truck drivers.
