Martinez Lake Road

Project Description

The project is located northeast of Yuma, Arizona and situated on the Department of Defense lands, adjacent to the Yuma Proving Grounds, near mile post (MP) 4.3 to 9.04, Bureau of Reclamation lands (approximately 100 feet at MP 9.04), Arizona State Trust Land (approximately MP 9.04 to MP 10.2), then continues north on Red Cloud Mine to the Imperial Wildlife Refuge.

The proposed project is generally described as a 4R reconstruction project, reconstructing approximately 5.89 miles of existing 2-lane paved roadway with two, 12 foot lanes, 2 foot paved shoulders, and 8 foot gravel shoulders for Martinez Lake and 3 miles of Red Cloud Mine.
