Bucks Lake Road

Project Description

The Bucks Lake Road Slope Stabilization project is complete and open to unrestricted traffic. Roadway alignment was shifted away from the cut slope in order to widen the rockfall catchment ditch. Future rock fall events will be much less likely to encroach the roadway. A reinforced soil slope (RSS) was constructed for approximately 800 feet on the fill slope.

The project was completed approximately three weeks ahead of the contract completion date.
