Wolfsen Road

Project Description

FHWA-CFLHD will rehabilitate approximately 2.2 miles of Wolfsen Road from the intersection with SR 165 to the boundary with the San Luis National Wildlife Refuge (NWR). The project will pulverize the existing pavement and place asphalt pavement over the stabilized road bed to provide two travel lanes with shoulders with an anticipated total paved width of 22 to 24 feet. The existing asphalt road has a poor riding surface (rough and uneven) and reduced lane widths due to deterioration.
