Kaskaskia River, Shelbyville and Carlyle Lakes Roadways and Parking Areas Rehabilitation and Reconstruction

Project Description

The project is funded under the Emergency Relief for Federally Owned Roads program (ERFO). Kaskaskia River Site 1 is located between Lock and Dam and Levee Roads, and Kaskaskia River Site 3 is located off Klondike Road west of E. Kaskaskia Street. Lake Shelbyville Sites are located between State Routes 16 and 121, and Carlyle Lake Site is located to the east of Sunrise Hill, south of the Carlyle Dam Road and Sunrise Hill intersection. Work includes roadway excavation and reconditioning, placement of roadway aggregate, asphalt concrete pavement, crack cleaning and sealing, aggregate surface course, curbs, sidewalks, riprap and other miscellaneous work.
