Rehabilitate, Restore, and Resurface (3R) Improvements to 19000 Road in Labette County

Construction Updates

During construction, one lane of traffic will remain open on 19000 Road with some limited duration closures (15-minute maximum) allowed. Advanced notice of closures will be provided to the public.

Project Description

The project will provide surfacing improvements to rehabilitate, restore, and resurface (3R) with a double chip seal. Proposed improvements to 19000 Road include pulverization of the existing asphalt roadway, placement of 4 inches of a new gravel rock layer, compaction and a double chip seal for a 6-mile section from Brown Road to Gray Road.
