Suitland Parkway and Forestville Road Pedestrian Crossing Improvement

Project Description

The work includes replacement of the existing traffic signal and installation of a safe pedestrian route that connects to the existing sidewalks and bus stops north and south of Suitland Parkway. The existing traffic signal system does not meet current design standards and does not have the capacity to incorporate synchronized pedestrian crossings.
