Big Spring Bridge Replacement and Alley Spring Bridge Superstructure Replacement

Project Description

Project includes replacement of Big Spring Bridge located on State Route 103 over Spring Branch. Additional work at the approaches includes placing chip seal, type C, aggregate base, drainage, and other miscellaneous work. The existing Big Spring timber bridge was built 40 years ago and has deteriorated. Replace Alley Spring Bridge timber deck and running boards, timber facia, clean and paint girders and bracing, install timber railing and repair concrete spalled areas. Alley Spring Bridge can be accessed off State Route 106.
