The project will obtain a reliable roadway with a consistent width, while attempting to minimize impacts to Park resources. The rehabilitation includes full depth reclamation or pulverizing of the existing 3.49 miles of asphalt roadway including roadside pullouts/parking areas, resurfacing with a new asphalt concrete pavement, improving several parking areas with new curbing and sidewalk and expanding the parking lot capacity, replacing or cleaning culverts and drop inlets where deficiencies exist, and rehabilitating roadside ditches and waterways as necessary.
