Great Kills Marina Reconstruction

Project Description

The project to repair Hurricane Sandy damage to the Great Kills Park Public Boat Ramp. The project is funded under the Emergency Relief for Federally Owned Roads program (ERFO). Primary damage was sustained on the south side of the boat ramp. The repairs include the raising and removing of 12-inch timber piles, the installation of six 12-inch steel piles, and the reconstruction of the floating dock. Reconstruction of the floating dock includes the installation of floating dock sections, decking, wood ramps and aluminum plates, steel pile guides, roller guides, comer bumpers, and all miscellaneous hardware. The project is located off Buffalo Street.
