West Pollock Access Road
Traffic delays of up to 15 minutes should be expected.
The project is located on the 1.8 mile length of 104th Street between State Highway 1804 and the entrance to the West Pollock Recreation Area (WPRA). The road provides access to Lake Oahe and the WPRA and carries a significant amount of traffic, especially during the summer months. The existing, narrow road width creates problems for both vehicle and bicycle traffic.
The project consists of pavement reconstruction and widening the pavement from 22 feet to 30 feet, in an effort to provide bike lanes along the route.
