La Sal Mountain Loop Road

Project Description

The scope of this project included minor widening of the existing roadway to produce a consistent 22-foot width, pulverized, and paved. Geotechnical, hydraulic, and safety improvements were included. This project is in Grand and San Juan Counties to the southeast of Moab, Utah. The project started at the Mill Creek Bridge near the intersection with Oowah Lake Road and continues north to the junction with Gateway Road at milepost (MP) 26.5.
