Construction Updates
Road closures and traffic delays are in effect through June 2018 as follows:
- From Castle Valley Overlook to Gateway Road (MP 26.5), the road may be closed through March 5, 2018.
- From Oowah Lake Road (MP 14) to Sand Flats Road (MP 18), expect a maximum 30-minute delay Monday through Friday, from March 5 - June 5, 2018.

Project Description
The scope of this project includes minor widening of the existing roadway to produce a consistent 22-foot width, pulverize, and pave. Geotechnical, hydraulic, and safety improvements will be included. This project is in Grand and San Juan Counties to the southeast of Moab, Utah. The project begins at the Mill Creek Bridge near the intersection with Oowah Lake Road and continues north to the junction with Gateway Road at milepost (MP) 26.5.
