Halfway Creek, Felgate's Creek, and Kings Creek Bridges Rehabilitation

Project Description

The work on the bridges will include repairing concrete on substructure, girders and deck underside, cleaning exposed rebar, sealing concrete surfaces, cleaning and resealing joints, addition of steel to extend scuppers and structural concrete injection and crack repair, placing riprap to stabilize erosion and undermining, resetting bearing pads, installing object markers and other miscellaneous work. Halfway Creek Bridge is located on Colonial Parkway south of Humelsine Parkway (State Route 199). Kings Creek Bridge is located on Colonial Parkway east of Penniman Road (Route 641), and Felgate's Creek Bridge is located east of Kings Creek Bridge and west of Roosevelt Road.
