Umbagog and Silvio O. Conte National Fish and Wildlife Refuges Roadway Reconstruction and Drainage Improvements

Project Description

The work includes roadway reconstruction, drainage improvements and other miscellaneous work on four sites at Silvio O. Conte National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) and one site at Umbagog NWR. The work items include embankment construction, granular backfill, aggregate surface course, concrete box culverts, replacement of large pipe culverts, headwall construction, cellular confinement system, and other miscellaneous work. The site in Umbagog NWR is located on Potter Farm Road close to the intersection with Mountain Pond Road off State Route 26. The sites in Silvio O. Conte NWR are located on Lewis Pond Road, Eagle Nest Road, and Tin Shack Road, and can be accessed from US Route 105.
