New River Gorge National River Pavement Preservation

Project Description

The work includes asphalt pavement micro-surfacing, full-depth pavement patching, pavement markings, wheelstop resetting and replacement, and other miscellaneous work, of roads and parking areas. The first 3 sites are in Grandview, off State Route 9 (Grandview Road) and are at Heron Lane, Main Overlook, and north and across Turkey Spur Road. The other sites are in Glen Jean and are parking areas located close and east of the Delta Road 94 and McKell Avenue intersection. An additional parking area is in Thurmond, off State Route 25/2 (Berry Mountain Road), close and to the east of Thurmond Train Station.
