ADHOC DESCRIPTIONS

Wall Batter” - Slope in a Rise:Run format of the outside face of the Cut wall. Be sure to include the colon between the numbers.

Wall Width” - Width of top of Cut wall in master units.

Wall Above Ground” - Height in master units above the existing ground for the top of cut wall.

Min. Stem Height” - Minimum stem height in master units for a cut wall.

Wall Width Factor” - Multiplied by the wall height, this factor will determine the overall width of the cut wall footing.

FootingThickness” - Thickness of cut wall footing in master units. This is considered minimum and will be tested against the height of the wall as wall height / 10. The greater of the two will be used.

Structure Exc Width” - Excavation width beyond the cut wall footing edges in master units.

Wall Excavation Slope” - Slope in a Rise:Run format of the excavation line connecting to the existing ground.

Bottom Footing Profile Name” - Specify the name of the proposed profile associated with the Phase 2 Design of the Cut Wall.

IMPORTANT: Set this to “none” until the phase 2 chain and profiles have been established using Cross Section Reports and COGO. In the phase 2 design the user MUST specify the correct COGO profile name to this adhoc. Refer to the FHWA Knucklehead's Guide for further explanation.

Top Footing Profile Name” - Specify the name of the proposed profile associated with the Phase 2 Design of the Cut Wall.

Top Wall Profile Name” - Specify the name of the proposed profile associated with the Phase 2 Design of the Cut Wall.

Wall Chain Name” - Specify the name of the proposed chain associated with the Phase 2 Design of the Cut Wall.
