ADHOC DESCRIPTIONS

Max. Wall Height” - Maximum wall height in master units. If the proposed wall intersects the existing ground BEFORE reaching this height, then the existing ground will control the height of the wall. If however, the existing ground is not encountered before this height is obtained, then this adhoc value will control.

Wall Face Slope” - Slope in a Rise:Run format of the front face of the Rockery Wall. Be sure to include the colon between the numbers.

Embedment Depth” - Embedment depth in master units measured from where the proposed surface intersects the face of the proposed wall. Be sure to include the colon between the numbers.

Wall Backslope” - Slope in a Rise:Run format of the back boundary of the rockery wall. Note this is a different slope then the wall excavation slope. Be sure to include the colon between the numbers.

Wall Width Factor” - This number multiplied times the maximum wall height determines the width of the rockery wall.

Foundation Depth” - Depth in master units measured from the bottom of the wall to the limits of the structure excavation.

Back Str Exc Width” - Back of structure excavation width measured in master units measured from the back of the wall to the limits of the structure excavation.

Backfill Slope” - Slope in a Rise:Run format of the backfill connecting the top of the wall to the existing ground. Be sure to include the colon between the numbers.

Wall Excavation Slope” - Slope in a Rise:Run format of the back boundary of the excavation for the Rockery Wall. Note this is a different slope then the wall backslope. Be sure to include the colon between the numbers.

Bench Slope” - Slope in a Rise:Run format of the surface connecting the back of the curb to the face of the Rockery Wall. Be sure to include the colon between the numbers.

Ditch In Front Of Wall” - (Yes) Y or (No) N to determine if a ditch is to be drawn in front of the Rockery Wall. Note this is only valid in the absence of any type of curb or paved ditch. In other words it will only be honored beyond a pavement or aggregate shoulder.

Ditch Foreslope Width” - Width in master units to use when drawing the foreslope of the ditch in front of the Rockery Wall.

Ditch Foreslope Slope” - Slope in a Rise:Run format of the ditch foreslope in front of the Rockery Wall. Be sure to include the colon between the numbers.

Ditch Backslope Slope” - Slope in a Rise:Run format of the ditch backslope in front of the Rockery Wall. Be sure to include the colon between the numbers.

Face Str Exc Width” - Face of structure excavation width in master units used when a ditch is present in front of the Rockery Wall.
