Description: Shoulder Foreslope (Override)
“ComputeMethod” - Determines the method of override. If set to OR an interpolation will take place using the values assigned to the adhoc attributes BeginSlope and EndSlope. If set to ST the slope tables will be used but ONLY in a fill situation. If set to ST and the shoulder is in a cut situation, then the override line will be ignored.
“BeginSlope” - Specified in a Rise:Run format, represents the slope of the beginning location of the override element location.
IMPORTANT: The override element must never start before the beginning of the proposed baseline.
“EndSlope” - Specified in a Rise:Run format, represents the slope of the ending location of the override element location.
NOTE: If no tapering is desired, set this value to equal the same value as the BeginSlope adhoc attribute.
IMPORTANT: The override element must never end past the end of the proposed baseline.
“Fill Tolerance” When drawn in the GEOPAK lines file outside of the edge of pavement and shoulder, the shoulder foreslope will be computed (and drawn) based on the fill slopes table instead of looking to the redefinable variable, (_d_ShoulderForeSlope). If the length of the corresponding fill tie slope is less than this distance then this plan view override option will be ignored.
- This will only work when the edge of the pavement or shoulder is in a fill situation.
- The Fill Tolerance adhoc should be set approximately equal to the pavement structure thickness plus ditch foreslope height.
“SlopeDecimalPlaces” Controls the number of decimal places shown when the slope of the line is labeled.
