ACTIVITY: Prepare and QC Final (95%) PS&E package consists of the steps below.

  1. Finalize Standards, Details, etc.
  2. Finalize Summary of Quantities and Tabulations
  3. Finalize Class A cost estimate
  4. Finalize the Construction schedule (CPM)
  5. Verify mitigation design and support commitments
  6. Finalize Special Contract Requirements (SCR)
  7. Complete 95% QC checklist
  8. Design QC Review
  9. Print and distribute copies of Final (95%) PS&E

Step 1 (Weight: 2)

Description: Finalize Standards, Details, etc.

Verify/update all applicable FLH Standard Plans and WFLHD Details to current version.

  • Finalize the plan quantities for all bid items
  • Finalize earthwork quantities and earthwork summary
  • Finalize the bid quantities and Summary of Quantities excel spreadsheet

  • Finalize Class A cost estimate and coordinate with Program Manager.
  • Define pay items and develop unit prices for all work specified in the contract.
  • Verify and document construction price inflation rates and any pay item incentives.

  • Print hard copy
  • Print to PDF
  • Submit to OA for reproduction
  • Prepare internal and external distribution letter.
